A small absence

It's been quite a while since anything was posted here, and now I can show you why. In addition to new Thelma's felt and fabric stuffies, such as the one above, I have been bunkering down in the studio in my back garden. Various sections of existing paintings have been reworked, modified, added to... ellipses have been corrected, shadows increased and new canvases have also been started.

Here is a very small peek at a few more detailed sections. Can you spot the difference?

Can I spot the difference? Oh, yes! Love those thin washes of purple shadow and a million & one ellipses all on a single table setting. Roll on May... it's going to be a great, great, great exhibition!
see you, g xo

Your paintings are coming along beautifully Elaine! Your tinkering and hard work in the studio is paying off.

Thanks comfies
Thanks Sandrine.... I'd love it if you both could be at my opening, end of May. Small matter of traveling time and expenses I guess would be a 'minor' obstacle....I'll let you know how it goes. ....e
