Stripes for Guido Valdez

A little while back I was lucky enough to be a small part in helping this limited edition creation for Art & Australia by Louise Weaver, get off the ground.

I was also fortunate enough to receive a crocheted rock in the very stripes of Guido Valdez. It fits snugly into the palm and is delightful to hold.

Behold...

Using fabric from the test silkscreen, I created a stuffie for LW in return. Spotty legs and felt flowers about the ears...

thanks louise... yes my Louise Weaver rock is now one of my most treasured possessions.... I'll have to really save up now for one of her beautiful animal creations to go with it....e

thanks Comfies... I really enjoyed making this stuffie and couldn't go wrong using L.W. silkscreen fabric. These stuffies are like "kids"... you never know what they'll turn out like...e
